Exhibition design for the Commemorative Hall of the VII Summit of the Americas, a meeting that took place in 2015 in Panama City and that was of utmost importance due to three main facts:

1. For the first time in the history of this meeting the presidents representing all thenations of the Americas were complete.

2. The historic meeting between Barack Obama and Raul Castro, the first meeting between a president of the United States and a president of Cuba in 50 years.

3. Massive protests by supporters and detractors of the Cuban government, due to the presence of Castro in the country.

For the commemorative exhibition we decided that these 'voices' that took place at the meeting were also a starting point for the design concept. With this in mind, we designed an exhibition that shows the overlap between different voices. Therefore everything is designed through layers and transparencies: large-scale typographies are mixed with photos and texts printed on acrylic or stained glass. The colors chosen allude to the colors of the Panamanian flag. The typefaces, Ogg and Universe Ultra Condensed, are also a visual expression of this mix of voices.

Finally, we designed a series of commemorative stamps with the illustration of each of the presidents in attendance, whose style is also based on the superimposition of different geometric figures that, together, manage to configure a single image.
