Bacatá is a compilation of 17 bilingual (Spanish-French) stories written by students of the "Languages" undergraduate program at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional de Colombia in the framework of creative writing workshops taught by Julie Imbert.
Together with the artist Inti Guevara, we designed a book whose cover is a folding map of Bogota, with illustrations related to each text and a glossary that help to understand the meaning of some of the Bogota slang or traditional words used in the stories.
In this way the book can be read with the help of the map, proposing an alternative reading practice, which invites you to travel through the city symbolically and literarily.
